How to Save

Unless you are very rich there is no need to spend big bucks on following items.
It's better to buy unexpensive and replace it more often.

What to Save on:

1. White shirt
The yellowing white shirt doesn't look good.

{weardrobe}

2. T-shirt
T-shirts after often wear loses it color and shrinks.

3. Lingerie
Buy everyday , casual underwear and hosiety in  places like Marshalls or Target. Nude shades and seamless styles can be worn almost under anything, but fun colors always a must.

  4. Disagree about shopping for lingerie at Marshall's, Target, etc. The best thing I did for me and how I look in clothes was spend my 2010 end of the year bonus on being professionally fitted in quality high end bras. My $80-$100 bras make me look immensely better in all of my clothes. It was money well spent.

  6. Debbie, you are absolutely right. Im all about proper fitting. This is an essential before you do anything. But then when you know how to pick correctly, you can save BIG $ on Casual wear. Im not talking about Sexy lingerie or Shapewear.

  12. I agree with you on the T-shirts and linegrie but not on the white shirt. A good shirt 100% cotton or silk and whit an excellent cut always "elevate" the categorie of your look!!!

  18. Excellent tips and I couldn't agree more. I have had expensive ones of each and they still get damaged so I opted for cheap replaceable ones :)

  19. You have such a great blog, I really like this post because I'm all about saving on fashion, you're so right about the white shirts. What's the point of buying a $100 collared shirt when it can get ruined so fast. I try to save on shoes and jeans these days. I've found inexpensive brands that look good too. Following you now & on twitter.
